Selection of birds

This is a selection of simple to medium difficult birds using 75mm paper, so they are all on the small side. Quite a few of these I have folded with the children in the national schools  from junior infants up to 6th class.

The main reason I started Origami was to have something to do on a rainy day during my visits to schools. My visit to schools is all about birds so here are some of the firsts birds I folded. One or two of these are difficult, will post more simple models which I use at schools. One thing I can say is the children get great enjoyment when creating their own origami bird.

3d origami

My first attempt at 3D origami otherwise know as Golden Venture origami and Chinese Paper Folding. 32 sheets from one A4 sheet which is equal to A9. This model has 500 A9 sheets.
