Level 2 Mengers Sponge

Level 2 Mengers Sponge using business card fold except a smaller version. 20x35mm card. Level 2 has 400 cubes with 6 cards for each cube equals 2400 cards. A total of 1056 cover panels bring the total number of cards to 3456.

Started on 23 March working a couple of hours most evenings, completed it last night and made the little stand using the same format.

I might even progress and do level 3 which will reguire 66,000 cards. If it took one month to do level 2 it would take me 20 months to complete level 3. Could complete it by December 2014.

Menger Sponge is a mathematical fractal where the pattern or form is repeated.

Menger Sponge

Business card folding is one of the easiest and great fun to do. Was in Furbo National School and introduced Rang a Cúig and Rang a Sé and they all had great fun and all create something and one or two completed a level 1 Menger's Sponge.
Now to continue with the green card and make a level 2 Mengers Sponge and maybe even a level 3 which will require over 66,000 pices of card.
